Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated: July 2026
This is an English translation provided for convenience; the Spanish version at deliverycontrol.mx/cookies is the legally binding one. This Policy applies only to the marketing site deliverycontrol.mx and complements our Privacy Notice. The SaaS platform (app.deliverycontrol.mx) has its own notices.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are text files a site places on your device to recognize your browser on later visits. The site also uses browser local storage (localStorage), which serves an equivalent purpose but does not travel with every request to the server. In this Policy, “cookies” covers both mechanisms unless stated otherwise. A first-party cookie is set by the deliverycontrol.mx domain; a third-party one is set by a different provider (e.g. Google or Meta) through embedded resources.
As a reinforced practice, we operate a prior-consent (opt-in) model for non-essential cookie categories.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
Indispensable for the site to work and to record your consent preferences. They require no prior consent and cannot be disabled from the preference panel; to block them, use your browser settings, which may affect the site.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dc-consent-v1 | localStorage (first-party) | Records which categories you accepted or rejected (essential/analytics/marketing) | Until you clear the site's local data |
dc-mktg-consent | Cookie (first-party) | Records specifically your marketing-consent state (read server-side for Meta measurement) | 180 days |
dc-consent-banner-dismissed-v1 | localStorage (first-party) | Records that you already interacted with the banner, so it is not shown again | Until you clear the site's local data |
dc-consent-id | localStorage (first-party) | Internal technical identifier tied to your consent record, with no advertising-tracking purpose | Until you clear the site's local data |
3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
Let us measure site usage (pages visited, traffic source) for analysis and improvement. They load only if you accept the “Analytics” category.
| Name / tool | Origin | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_<id>, _gid (Google Analytics 4) | Third party — Google LLC | Distinguish users and measure aggregate traffic and behavior | Up to 2 years (_gid: 24 hours) |
| Google Tag Manager | Third party — Google LLC | Technical container that manages analytics tag loading | Sets no identifier of its own |
ph_<key>_posthog (PostHog) | Third party — PostHog, Inc. | Pseudonymous product/site-usage analytics | Up to 12 months |
4. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
Let us measure advertising-campaign effectiveness and track conversions. They load only if you accept the “Marketing” category.
| Name / tool | Origin | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel) | Third party — Meta Platforms, Inc. | Identify the browser for conversion measurement and remarketing on Meta platforms | Up to 90 days |
| Meta Conversions API (CAPI) | Third party — Meta Platforms, Inc. | Server-to-server event complementing the Pixel, under the same purpose and consent control | Not persisted on the device |
5. Scheduling — Cal.com (unconditional load)
The site embeds the Cal.com scheduling widget so you can book a call. Unlike the analytics and marketing categories, this widget loads unconditionally, regardless of your consent preferences, because it is a function you activate directly by scheduling. Its technical cookies are those needed to keep the booking state, with the duration defined by the provider. We disclose it here expressly for transparency.
6. How to grant, change or withdraw consent
On your first visit you will see a banner with options to accept all, reject all (except essential) or customize by category. By default, analytics and marketing are off. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the site's preference panel. Withdrawing consent stops new cookies of that category from loading going forward; already-set cookies can be deleted from your browser settings.
7. Browser signals (Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control)
As of the last update, there is no uniform technical standard nor an express legal obligation in Mexico to honor “Do Not Track” (DNT) or “Global Privacy Control” (GPC) signals, so the site does not respond to them automatically. The effective mechanism to manage your non-essential cookies is the preference panel described above.
8. Transfers associated with cookies
Cal.com acts as a processor for the scheduling function (a remission, requiring no additional consent). Google (GA4/GTM) and Meta (Pixel/CAPI) process the information also for their own purposes, so they may act as independent controllers; consequently, enabling analytics and/or marketing may involve a transfer of data to those third parties, subject to Articles 35 and 36 of the LFPDPPP. Full detail is in the Privacy Notice.
9. Minors
This site is intended for adults (operators and owners of restaurant and delivery businesses). It is not directed to minors and does not knowingly collect their data through cookies.
